Q: What do I need to bring in order to buy UC licensed software?
A: In order to purchase UC licensed software, you will need to bring a valid UC ID and you must be registered for classes.


Q: How many installations do I have with Office 2010?
A: You may install Microsoft Office 2010 on two computers. Once the two installations are completed you will not be able to install the software a third time.


Q: Can I ask my friend/ relative to buy UC licensed software for me?
A: No, you will be asked to sign an agreement form and we can only sell UC-licensed software in person.


Q: I am a distance-learning student enrolled in online classes, how can I purchase UC licensed software if it can only be sold in person?
A: Distance-learning students may purchase UC-licensed software by following the instructions on the distance-learning page of this site.


Q: Can I return software once it has been opened?
A: As stated in our Return Policy opened software can only be returned if it is defective. If we are unable to verify if the software is defective, you will have to contact the manufacturer in order to schedule a replacement.


Q: What is the difference between Office and Windows 7?
A: Windows 7 is an Operating System and Office is a productivity suite which includes a word processor (WORD), a spreadsheet (EXCEL), a presentation software (POWERPOINT), and a database (ACCESS). If you are looking for software that can help you write papers, make presentations, etc� you need Office!


Q: Do I need to buy Adobe Acrobat to read PDF files?
A: If you just want to read PDF files, you can download Acrobat reader for free. If you want to create PDF files, you will need to purchase Adobe Acrobat.


Q: What is the difference between Office 2010 and Office 2011?
A: Office 2011 is exclusively for Mac and Office 2010 for Windows-based computers.
